Rupal Bhansali is the CEO, CIO and Portfolio Manager of international & global equity strategies at Double Duty Money Management, LLC, headquartered in New York. She is a rare woman of color to have broken through the glass ceiling on Wall Street and from 2001 to 2023 was among the 2% of female portfolio managers to solely manage a mutual fund in the US. She is also the author of a book called “Non-Consensus Investing” which describes her unconventional approach to investing. Previously, she worked at Ariel Investments for 12 years, at MacKay Shields for 10 years & at Oppenheimer Capital for 5 years, in senior leadership & portfolio management roles. She started out on the buy-side as a research analyst at the hedge fund, Soros. From 2020 to 2023, she was featured in Barron’s “100 Most Influential Women in US Finance” list and from 2019 to 2023 she served as a member of their prestigious Investment Round-table, which features “10 of Wall Street’s smartest investors”.
